Jayaprakash started his career as a software engineer in India and later moved to Seattle, USA and continued to work there. While in Seattle, he learnt acting from Seattle Acting School which is now Playhouse Northwest. After working in the software industry for ten years, he quit his job and returned to India to pursue a career in acting. After working for few years as an actor, Jayaprakash developed interest in Writing. The screenplay of Lens was completed in two years. Due to its bold and daring content, Jayaprakash decided to produce and direct the film. He also plays the character of Aravind in the film.
