Ander Duque is a musician and filmmaker from Barcelona (Spain). Born in Bilbao.In 1999 he settled in Barcelona and directed his first short film in 2004 ‘Ay !which won several national competitions. His next film ‘Gus And Brandy’ (Candy & Brandy) won multiple awards including the 3rd prize 8th Annual Latino Filmmaker Los Angeles, 1st prize Alice Film Festival San Francisco, Honorable Mention in Sofia short Film Festival Bulgaria, 3rd Contest prize Juan Antonio Bardem.In 2006 he directed ‘Barcelonarena’, his first documentary for Televisió de Catalunya and followed it up with‘Ela’(TV3), ‘Sexogenario’(TV Catalunya), ‘Young Gloria Urbana’(TVE) and ‘Morarte’, History of a meeting’, whichpremiered at the opening of the European Film Festival in Seville.
