Sanjay Dattani, WICA, is a renowned Director of Photography who also teaches Cinematography at various institutes. A trained Graduate in Cinematography from FTTI, Bengaluru, he carries a vast body of work with him having shot over 1,000 Films Music Videos, Documentaries, TV series and Corporate Films etc. With an experience of over two decades, he has planned and been involved with IPL and Indian Football League ; Live telecasts and many other Live Mega events like Film and Music Awards Nights etc.
Beginning his career with post graduation in History and journalism Vinod went on to train at institutions like BBC and FTII, Pune in Scripting and Film and Television Production. A Contributing Editor and a regular writer on Cinema and Radio, he was earlier a Deputy Director General with Doordarshan for over two decades. Trained at the FTII- Pune and Delhi University, he was also a Consultant PR for All India Radio and partook establishing Radio Archives. He has been a Script Writer, Short film maker besides stints in corporate PR and marketing with leading Multinationals. Currently working on a book on the contributions of AIR in shaping performing arts and impressions on cinema.
Arun, graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, is a documentary filmmaker. Many of his films have been shown in various national and international film festivals and have won several awards. He has won NATIONAL AWARD, Won twice, ‘GOLDEN CONCH’ awards for the best documentary films at the Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) and the Best Film award at the International documentary Film festival, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His films have also been screened at the Global conference on Poliomyelitis in Zurich, Millennium summit on poverty alleviation in US and summit on Climate Change in Paris. He has also been a Jury Member for National & International Film Festivals in India
A post graduate in English Literature from Delhi University and Journalism, and a student of Film Appreciation from FTII, Pune, Manjulaa is a renowned author and Senior Journalist who has been writing on Cinema for over two decades for publications like the Times of India (as Editor for Lucknow, Kanpur and Banaras Editions), The Hindustan Times, The Hindu, Deccan Herald and international magazines among many others. She has worked with various film festivals like IFFI and Osian’s Cinefan in various capacities. She is on the Advisory Board of Woodpecker International Film Festival.
Former Deputy Director General with Doordarshan, India’s State Broadcaster, Sharad Dutt is considered a legend in Television. A veteran of live broadcast in the country, he has directed over 2,000 big and small Shows and Programmes on Doordarshan. Two times Winner of the President’s Award for ‘Best Writing on Cinema’, he has written several books. A Guide and Mentor to many Film and Television professionals, he also has two books written on him. He has been an Advisor and Consultant to Doordarshan and various other Institutions. An authority on literature and films, he is still actively engaged in film making and writing. Sharad Dutt also served as the Chairman of the Jury for Best writing on Indian Cinema 2013.
KULBIR S. SAHNI
Retired as Joint Director from Directorate of Film Festivals, he is known to the entire film fraternity as the man behind IFFI for several decades. Wearing many hats as Administrator and Coordinator, Sahni has worked with organizations like National Film Development Corporation, Films Division and Directorate of Film Festivals handling diverse assignments like National Film Awards, Indian Panorama selections, International Film Festival of India. He has represented India at some major international film festivals and served on various Film Committees formed by the Government of India.
